[OOC] Moving of the forum

Due to the inaccessibility of the admins that still occurs and is already there for quite some time, we decided to move.

Why again at an extern forum and not on the official RK forums?
History will repeat itselfs in the end and players who got the admin rights now will stop playing and the same problem will come again, while using the official RK forum, the GA got the power to replace inactive admins, or you can ask quesions to other forumadmins.

In the external forum used by the Council of Austria the Archduke always gets admin rights. So he is able to do everything even in case the actual forum admin is not available.
Why is this not the done here too? The current Emperor should always have admin rights.
Moving to another forum means we would lose all our history.

I do not think it is a good plan. We even tried to go to the official forum, even that did not work.

It should have been done... if you remember, since Jade it was no longer done.
Then Freas was added (solely him) and then... again noone else. If I may quote for you:

In theory the rule is there... it's just not done.
And yes, obviously we will loose all the history, which is the really annoying part.
Unluckily though, considering that both admins are not here and as far as my knowledge is both do not play any longer at all...

Player of Raboude had contacted me last year, when I was still playing Thibaud, asking if I could assume admin work here, as he will completely disappear. I said yes. He asked me to provide another name for an admin, I did. And nothing. He only gave to player of Freas and that's it. And now since months, we are blocked, can't change accesses :s

This being said, as no one can change access anymore... it means we keep accessing information here anyways in case we need something...

Did you try to explain the situation to the Admin of Actieforum and request to change the account signed as admin?
Usually they help in situation like this, even if you don't have the mail use to found this site.

I will try that. Though reading through their requirements, it mentions that an admin must agree... well. We shall see

I can only take over with a poll opened "asking the rest of the forum members/staff if they are ok for you to take over" (quoted).

If we get control over this forum back: no.

The process is currently in motion, so for now I would say no... as I hope that it will work and we get access back.

The founder account was transferred to me yesterday and yeah. So we will stay.

For those with a keen eye, the account of "Raboude" was renamed to Admin. That is because it is the founder account which was now transferred to me.
So please do not be confused with that.
